Hello! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've been dealing with exams and a bunch of ear infections and sickness in my house. :PPP Anyways guess what. I FOUND MY PHONE!!! YAAAAYYYY!!

Horses and an ear

There's this girl that goes to my school named Anna, and she is in a wheelchair! She was riding her horse and then she fell off and the horse STEPPED ON HER!!!! Her femur was broken in half, fractured, and dislocated. She was gone for about two weeks. She went to the hospital when it happened, 9:00 pm, and had to have surgery. Obviously she's in a lot of pain but she's back at school! Also, yesterday my right ear started  feeling like there was something in the way of my hearing. It started hurting this morning and i'm going to the doctor in the morning for it. Anyhoo, bye!

Leftovers

Hello! I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving. If you had a Thanksgiving like I did, you probably have a few leftovers. Now I like leftovers, but nothing beats that fresh slice of ham!! Now think about God and what He has given us. He expects and deserves the absolute best of our lives. He has already given us the best and that is Jesus life on the cross to pay for our sins. That was His most treasured gift. What have we given back to Him? He wants us to give Him the best of our time, treasures, and talents. He gave you those things and He can take them away. So you need to be thankful for the things He has given you. God has blessed us SO much and he deserves the very best. We need to live in such a way that He is honored and worshiped on a daily basis. Because He alone is worthy for our praise and worship. God, not mortal things deserve our complete devotion. Remember to be thankful even after Thanksgiving for what you have!

I'm BACK!!!!

Hey! I'm back! And I'm in Tennessee! Since we have the week off of school we decided to go to the Creation Museum in Kentucky. I've been there before but every time I go I get a little something out of it! It is definitely a place I suggest going to. The best part of it is that it compares evolution to creation and REALLY makes you think about how thankful you need to be for everything.

Two Golden Rules?

Hi-hi! Today at school my teacher mentioned the golden rules. You might have heard the first one.      " Do unto others as you would have them do to you." But did you know that there's a second one? I you did, YAY YOU!!! "He who has the gold, makes the rules." Hmmmm..... True but really???????

I Judge You!

       You stare at a boy as he walks down the hall. "Ew." Scowls your friend Becky. "He is DISGUSTING!!!" You glance at the quiet boy as he pulls up his baggy pants that had obviously been worn by someone else. In your mind, you know that it's wrong for Becky to think that, but you want to fit in with the "cool cowd". "I know right???" You exclaim. The boy turns and his faded blue backpack rips from all of the years of holding his stuff. Becky and her friends stand there and laugh at him as he tries to pick up the books that had spilled onto the tile floor. "Oh this is GOOD!!" Becky exclaims. "I wish I had a camera." You stare sadly at the scraggly boy as he scrambles on the floor. Half of you wants to help him, but you don't want to be judged by Becky!!!!

WOW!!! Do you see how much judging there is in the world? You cannot go anywhere without someone judging someone else. Earlier, I dressed as a pirate to get donuts. Now, just because i'm wearing a pirate costume, doesn't mean i'm a pirate right? The same goes for everyday life. Just because someone likes to dress nice, doesn't mean their automatically a snob now, does it? Just remember to check out their heart first. Because they could dress nice, and end up being your best friend! Don't EVER judge a book by its cover. If you don't want people judging you, don't judge others. It's terrible how often people judge others in todays world.

Don't follow the crowd. Stand out. B urself.

Prayer Request

Please pray for Adam Smith's family. He collapsed 9/13/12 of heart failure I believe. He passed away The 15th. He was in 9th grade. His brother is in Afghanistan so he didn't get to see his brother before he died. Please pray for everyone who knew him. It's really depressing to think of how he was fine one day, then very ill the next. Please keep them in your prayers.

Forgiveness

Has anything bad ever happened to you that you feel you can't control? Maybe you feel that bad thing was caused by a certain person. Is it ok to hate that person for what they did? NO. It is never ok to hate someone, regardless of their actions.

Because we all make mistakes sometimes, and we've all stepped accross that line. And nothing sweeter than the day, sweeter than the day we find... forgiveness.

You shouldn't hold a grudge no matter how bad you're feelings are towards a person. You should always. ALWAYS forgive others.

Grateful

Have you ever woken up one week day morning and said, "Finally!! School! Learning in a classroom full of crazy people!!" Um....... I know i don't....... Normally for me it's, "Ugh. School. Waking up early to sit in a classroom full of crazy people. Whoohoo.." The truth is, most of us don't like the entire learning  part of the whole school thing. Or we just hate the whole thing. But take a moment and think about the children that can't go to school. They would love to be in your spot right now looking at your phone or computer without having to worry about whether or not you are going to eat
tomorrow. You have got to be grateful for what God has given you. Because He good just as easily take it all away. You need to take time and look at the good in things and say I Love you to the people you care about. Because you never know what might happen.

Here today, gone tomorrow.

My Little Random Thoughts

On the 25th i'm going to Orlando Florida!!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEK!!!!!! I canNOT wait! And guess what. I'm going with a friend!!! :D I am to excited for words. Anyhoo, I shall keep thou posted!!

Friends

Today I spent some time with one of my best buds. And I was thinking of why she is one of my top best buds. And I decided that it was because she is a wonderful person. I try to pick the right people to hang out with. Because if I want to be a good influence, I need to hang out with others guys and gals that are good influences.

Food for thought
 " He who walks with the wise, grows wise. But a companion of fools, will suffer harm." (Proverbs 13:20)

Choose wisely who your friends are. If you hang out with the wrong crowd, you could very easily become like that crowd. You want to hang out with the right crowd. Sometimes it can be hard to figure out whether or not a person is a good friend to have or not. So a way i decide whether i want to be close to them is describe their personality and actions. I going to describe one of my best friends as an example.

This friend has a BIG heart. And most important of all, she is dedicated to Jesus. THAT, is what i look for in a friend. And THAT, is why she is one of my BEST friends.

Chill with the people who treat you like the jewel you are. And bring out the best in you.

The Established Norm

If you've watched Home Alone, you might remember the pigeon lady. She is an example of eccentric, which means to back away from the established norm. The established norm, though it sounds funny, means what is  normal. We shoukd all try to back away from " the established norm" because honestly, what in the world is fun about normal????

An Influence To The World

My blog title is Influence To The World. And that is because I believe you need to be an influence to the people around you. It's not about what the "popular crowd" see's you as. It's about what GOD see's you as. "For man (the girl next door) looks at the outside. But the Lord looks at the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7) I think we should try to be like Jesus. And instead of judging people by their appearance, we should take a look at their heart.
